Chalice Bearers/Lay Eucharistic Ministers

The sacraments are outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace,

given by Christ as sure and certain means by which we receive that grace.
 

As part of each service every Sunday, the Chalice Bearers help share Holy Communion with those in attendance. Their ministry is a visible reminder that this Sacrament is open to all who come to God’s table.

In addition, those who have received specialized training are authorized to bring communion to our home-bound parishioners. This is a wonderful ministry in which the Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) bring part of the service to those who could not be with us.
