The Anchor Society – A Commitment to God and Our Community
St. Clement’s by-the-Sea Anchor Society honors those who have looked
beyond this life to make a lasting commitment to the future.

Legacy

Your vestry has established a “pure” endowment fund—that is, a fund in which the principle will never be touched—to provide an opportunity for you to create your own legacy in support of the mission and ministry of our church for decades to come. Today we are grateful for the
altruism and generosity of parishioners since 1929, who have built and maintained this church
and its many ministries.

The Future

A gift to the endowment fund will give you membership in our Anchor Society. By giving now or by making a documented bequest in your estate plans, you will ensure the on-going mission and ministry of St. Clement’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. Your membership in our Anchor Society will create a powerful statement of your stewardship of God’s many blessings by sharing your good fortune with generations to come.

Anchor Society

We invite you to make this church a part of your legacy and by so doing become a member of our Anchor Society. Any member of the parish (or parish friend) that joins the society will receive a gift of an Anchor Society coin.

Those members or friends of the parish that join the Anchor Society during the inaugural year (2008) will be invited to a special "thank you" lunch at the home of Bishop Bruno in 2009.
